Amy...please don...Homework is just too over rated. <br />Amy...please don't sweat it about the kindergarten homework. If your child gets a packet let him or her figure out that they can free up the rest of his or her week by doing it all the first day or two. Then the only thing they have to do is read each night. I taught 1st grade in Pasadena a while back and that's what I told the parents.Lisa Snoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4982495311070974364.post-26367731689786414802013-05-31T21:08:32.721-07:002013-05-31T21:08:32.721-07:00I confess too because we didn't do the last we...I confess too because we didn't do the last week of homework either. I agree, kids should be kids longer. And you are a wonderful mother. Spending time and making good memories is better than hounding to do homework. Maybe his homework/assignments are important, maybe they're not - but - it's totally OK with me if he gets a 60 on an assignment that he blew off and waited til the last minute. . . and I'm sure that gets on his teacher(s) nerves. . .but. . . he gets good grades, he's well-liked, he's respectful in class. . .so. . . oh well. :) Have fun!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05123962678060249735noreply@blogger.com
