My Bro-in-law Robby recently sent us a picture indicating how he was growing out his beard as well and how Rowdy had nothing on him. We obviously, beg to differ. So we did what any normal family member would do and attacked.
Here is what he sent us with the caption:
"You think Aaron has one? Check this out!"
Here is how we responded:
We appreciate your recent application for acceptance into the Model Beard Society (MBS). Unfortunately, due to the lack of an exceptional beard, we are going to have to deny your application at the present time. We have also informed the authorities that perhaps your Man Card should be placed in a probationary status. We do however, encourage you to continue your attempt to pursue adequate growth. We have included a photo of inspiration to model what we believe is the standard of excellence in beardsmanship. We hope you will re-apply during the next application period, once you have recovered from this epic fail.
Best of luck in your future manly endeavors,
Professor Beardsley
Please note where the non-flattering picture was taken... in the bathroom with the shower rod in the background in order to show an exact comparison. Details folks, details...
That is hilarious! I love it! (Well, not the beard, but you know what I mean haha)
ReplyDeleteSo funny!
ReplyDelete=D
Ha ha ha!!!! What a cute husband you have!
ReplyDeleteThat is really hilarious! Love the letter. You'll have to keep us posted if there is a response.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! So cute. You made me giggle. I live on a street called Beardsley. Just thought you'd like to know.
ReplyDeleteAnd Rowdy's beard is smashing. Truly smashing.
Ha! That sounds like something my brothers would do. My little brother can hardly grow anything but keeps trying. He looks a bit like a molester with the little thin line of a mustache. He thinks he is smoking. Mind if I borrow your letter? Tweaked of course to fit just mustache and not beard. You are so funny and I think your family and mine are very similar. Love it!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHA. Hilarious. :)
ReplyDeleteespecially this part: "best of luck in your future manly endeavors." HA.
this made me laugh! do you love that i am commenting so much?? does this make up for years of blog commenting neglect? PS that pecan pie would not have had a chance if I had been anywhere close by!
