Slurpee

(This is some random guys instagram picture.  If I had an i-phone I would have a picture of myself--but unless one of my lovely readers buys me one, you get to look at some stranger's man-hands)

Have you guys had a 7-11 slurpee recently?  It's been yeeeeeaaaaaarrrrrrsssssss for me, but recently I decided to do a drive-by (oh yes I DID just get all gangsta on you) and get my kiddo this delicious treat.  It was blue and cold and tangy and invigorating and oh-glorious-goodness it was mighty fine.

In other news, I have been contemplating that this summer Rowdy and I will have been married for TWELVE years and that kinda makes me weirded out because it kinda makes me feel old.  It's a horrible way to look at it, so instead I have decided to approach the large number by calling it a DOZEN.  Doesn't that just seem so much more romantic?

Peace out.

  1. Why not a "baker's dozen"? Love it! We will be 10 years this summer! A DECADE! LOL! Kill me. I love it though!

And my kids are a fan of the gas station i-cee. Classic.

  2. My kids used to love Slurpees when they were small.

    Congrats on an even dozen!

  3. I had one last night! I didn't want soda but wanted a treat of some kind and it was perfect. Getting it from the brand new, sparkling clean 7-11 by my house made it even tastier, I think.

  4. Wait till one of your children becomes a teen. That does little for making one feel young.

  5. Dozen. I like it.

I haven't had a slurpee in forever either. I'm not sure I'll like them.

My brother would go get icees while on his mission in Alaska... in the WINTER! Crazy boys.
