Did you think I was talking about the SuperBowl? Haha. Nope. I am talking about Nutella Day. I gave you plenty of notice on my February calendar.
So, did you celebrate?
Here is what we ended up doing here:
Grilled Nutella PB&J Sandwiches
AKA Holy Manna from Heaven
Ingredients:
A sturdy white or challah bread
Butter (no skimping)
Homemade Raspberry Jam
Peanut Butter made with coconut oil(yes, we make it ourselves)
Nutella
Directions:
Slather it all on and grill that baby.
I also made Nutella Brownies (disappointing) so my theory is that you really need to taste the Nutella fresh/raw-like. I would recommend nutella-strawberry crepes or nutella-banana won-tons or just a spoonful all by it's lonesome self.
If you are worried about how to thank me for this post (I know this deliciousness can be quite intimidating), I would say that spreading the Nutella love will be thanks enough. And as always, you are welcome.
I don't like Nutella.
ReplyDeleteI know. Something is intrinsically wrong with me. At the core.
;)
DAH! And nutella was on sale at the store today! Shoot. I didn't get any.
ReplyDeleteLooks good.
sadly, my Nutella baking did not work out. I tried making a Nutella Swirl Pound cake. The recipe turned out gross. The Nutella sunk to the bottom and the over all taste of the cake was just kind of gross. I am kind of traumatized by the whole thing now. Ugh!

ReplyDeleteOH YES I DID!!! I made fabulous Nutella cupcakes - still eating them today.
ReplyDeletePic on my blog - Definately mouth watering.
Love the idea of Nutella PB&J! I know my son wouldn't trade that sandwich!!
I think that stuff would be dangerous in my house...as in I would sneak it all day long.
