Oh my gosh. Apparently, the city that Aaron grew up in, Columbus, Georgia is ranked #4 in the nation's best places to raise a family. We lived there for 5 years before we moved here, and Aaron's mom and brother and his family are still there. Boy--is this news gonna make my hubby happy:)
check out if you are in one of the best places HERE

Im pretty shocked too, personally I dunno but i guess we all came out ok, right?
The last time I saw Columbus on one of those lists it was for the fattest cities in the country. I think it was the third in the nation for obesity per capita. With that said though it is an alright place to grow up.
I also saw that list when it came out. Pretty shocked. I would say where we live now is a much better place to raise a family. Better schools, cleaner, more jobs, more parks, more things to do.
Also, we've been to Billings, MT which ranks number 3, no desire at all to live there either! Bozeman on the other hand would be much better!
Uh, crazy. That's all I have to say about that. "Shock" is a good word for it. I couldn't wait to get out because there was just nothing there for us as kids/teens...who knows! I miss it somewhat now, but more for the memories and people...hmmm...
It is always interesting when those lists are published and I wonder what they based this list on.
Add me to your "My Girls" list. I have a blog. Do I qualify yet?
I couldn't believe it either and I live here! I guess I always knew I wanted to come back here and I can say that we are happy raising our family here.
I gagged when I read that! I did NOT like that city.
