the week of...
I have decided to break up the boredom of my busy life with a purpose. Those who know me very personally will laugh at that statement, as I am always busy and always have a purpose. (except last night when I lazily caught up on my 30 Rock on Netflix.)
I have decided to add a special element to my life by making something called "the week of.."
What am I talking about, you ask?
I am talking about an entire week each month dedicated to one thing and one thing only (besides motherhood and wife hood and reading magazines hood.)
Example: I am talking about April being "the week of lemons." That week I will make lemon recipes like you have never seen or eaten before (well, maybe you haven't.) I will blow up 50 yellow balloons to cover my ceiling. I will have a lemon party. I will wear yellow although I look dreadful in that color. It will be a week full of lemons.
Ideas brewing are: "the week of cookies." "The week of circles." "The week of green."
I'll take that week to celebrate whatever topic and report on my interpretation of said purpose.
Dear readers,
What are your ideas? What should I celebrate each month?

Today I left a comment on BBC for you...and knew I followed your blog, but wasn't sure which one was you, so this was good timing.
I was just thinking that I have a ton of recipes to share...and a week long recipe tour would be fun.
I think you should go for the themed ideas, esp since you already have bunches of ideas!
week of kids...week of hubby...week of photos
I dare you to do pickles or something aweful like boogers
A week of Suummer!!! The season. Not me. Okay me. I am fabulous after all.
ah! I remember that day! I also just got stuck watching your flickr photo stream for the past hour. Thanks a lot!
:)
you're so awesome, it's hard to look away!
p.s. what about hair?
What a beautiful idea! Sounds like such a way to savor...LIFE! I love it! You could make it as simple or as big as you want. I seriously love it!
a week of light?
of sun?
of spring?
of warmth?
