Grilled PBJ'S And A Day Trip

We made a quick trip to Portland to basically get a break and...EAT...and PBJ'S  was one of my favorite stops!  Their menu is so fun and GOOD!  Makes me want to get creative with our own at home.  And grilled?  Who would have thought?  Kai was thrilled, of course, considering his love for them.

There was some crazy fun adult versions (I heard the Spicy Thai is amazing) which we will be sure to partake of next time.

Then Kai ate my Blackberry Lime Gelato while I was taking pictures. Punk.  I was pretty unhappy about that. This picture is the epitome of my son right now.  He has so much random stuff on him at all times.  It's like accessorizing on a whole new boyish level.

And then I looked back as we were driving home to him sticking his tongue out the window  like a dog and I thought, "Yes. It was a good day."

Grilled PBJ's? never heard of them but they actually sound good!

Love that last picture. It must be a boy thing. My son does it too when the windows are rolled down.

Awe, this whole post just warmed my heart!

I'm allergic to peanut butter. I don't like it much either, so I don't feel like I'm missing out. But it always makes for nice conversation whenever I tell people I've never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in my life.
