Today we have been married for 7 years. It's abolutely crazy to think we have been together that long! We celebrated in style...with the kids in tow. Aaron said that maybe for our 10th Anniversary we can go out alone:) We took a 45 minute cruise to Blake Island to visit Tillicum Village. We got off the boat and were greeted by a Native American in authentic dress and ate steamed clams in broth (YUM!). Then we had traditional Indian-style smoked salmon that was prepared over the fire on cedar sticks. While we were eating we saw a performance that portrayed Native American dancing. The island was beautiful and it was on our TO DO IN SEATTLE list..so it was fun to check that one off! Kai was absolutely wretched the whole time, but other than that it was a good trip.
I just love this shirt on Brianna. It was a FAVORITE Goodwill find! So retro and hand-sewn.

This is the first chance I've had in weeks to get on and check blogs...what a great event to post! I love all the pictures, and congrats to you and Aaron. Jace and I have a few years to go to catch up to you...but I'm excited to see what we have to look forward to...salmon and anniversary dates for the whole family! :) Thanks for sharing with us all!

Oh BTW... hehehe--- I celebrated my 6th yr of being divorced on the 8th/10th of August. I am so proud of you all making it this far and for many more years! Love Ya ALL!!! Wish you lived closer! Miss you all!
