My Twin

Last week I had some golf-ball size swelling on my thyroid, got it checked out, and it seems that some tumors were found. We are officially the sickest family in the nation! Somebody come lysol my house!! Anyway, the biopsy is scheduled for the 31st --totally appropriate I think. We'll see how it goes. I'm nervous of course, but Aaron says it will be okay, so I know it will be okay. However, since I know this will reach all ends of the earth blog-wise...prayers are very much appreciated, and comforting, for that matter because I know they work.

Originally when I first got the swelling, I told a friend that it reminded me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. You know, the aunt who talked about how she had a lump on her neck and had to get a "bipopsy"? She said when they removed it they found that it had teeth and a spinal cord. "Yes, the lump on my neck, was my twin." Flipp'n hilarious! I always DID wish I was a twin! But that was really only because I wanted to lesson my time spent in front of the mirror making sure I looked okay.

Wow, Carrie. Our prayers are with you. I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

My prayers are definitely with you. Please let me know if a casserole via FedEx will still taste and look okay? It's on its way :)

I always did love that part of the movie too. I hope it is a twin. I have had a biopsy in my breast done before and I know that it isn't fun. We will of course pray for you. LOVE YOU!
