My maiden name was "Brown" for a reason.

Fill my kid up on chocolate before bedtime? Heck Ya! Anyone who knows me knows that I am pretty particular about what my kids consume. Aaron bought some non-natural peanut butter called "Skippy" this week and I flipped out on him. "Let's just 'skip' any nutritional value, why don't we? Do you realize how much sugar that jar has in it? Not to mention the hydrogenated oils?" Then why-oh-why would I give Kai a brownie at 8pm at night? I'll tell you! They are made from black beans/eggs/cocoa and he loves them! Super-smart mommy over here. Somebody give me a medal.
-oh--I have to mention that if you are expecting a really delicious decadent brownie these arn't it. HOWEVER, they fooled my kids big-time!

well, the picture makes them look scrumptious! I think it would be funny to make those and put a couple in Ryan's lunch. wonder what he would say...

The picture had me fooled! They look delicious. I'm glad I didn't taste one. But as long as the kids like them, that's all that matters.

You are a genius mother and I have to agree with the above - those brownies looked divine (at least visually).

Speaking of Brown, how is your family doing?
