A take-off challenge

We HAVE to go to Georgia for Christmas.  A promise to Rowdy's grandmother Tudy cannot be broken.  If it is, you might as well make us listen to Kenny G for a lifetime for the amount of guilt we will feel.

Problem:  Prices are INSANE.
We are willing to go before Christmas if necessary due to cost.

Challenge:  To find tickets for under $275 each (to include tax) from Seattle to Atlanta round trip (there are 4 of us).  Am I asking the impossible?  I don't believe so.  I have FAITH in my readers, knowing that you will put aside your dishes, laundry, date nights etc. to find them for me.  Doesn't that uncle's wife's brother's friend of yours work for an airline? How about asking for a hook-up?

Anytime between the 10th-28th of December for a week long stay (give or take).

And of course, as in all challenges there will be a prize.

What do you want from me? Can I make you something stellar?  Want a FREE photo shoot?

 I will make it happen.

Email me asap when you find them:  carriestroud@gmail.com

Wow! That is one tough order. I just looked at Priceline and for Dec. 10th - Dec. 20th - 2 adult, 2 children - Delta will fly you for $285 each.

Anything that goes to Dec. 25th or over is about $500 a ticket.

Good luck!

You can always try southwest. They fly into Birmingham which is 2.5 to three hours from Atlanta. Then have some pick you up or rent a car. Also, American Airlines had some deals right now. Good Luck!

Southwest lets you have two bags per person for free. Everyone else charges for luggage...don't forget!

Southwest Airlines does not go to Georgia at all.

Sheesh! I wish I could be more helpful! Even if there wasn't a free photo shoot hanging in the air...

Best wishes...you may need to take the Delta deal...hopefully that was round trip and not each way.

Dang. If only I hadn't thrown away my pilot's license.

JK I never had one. But if I did, I'd fly you guys for the remarkably reasonable price of a wink and a smile! :)

Good luck, I sure hope you guys make it out there. I had to listen to Kenny G type music at work on Thursday and wanted to shoot myself in the head.

OMGosh! Listening to Kenny G for a lifetime? I think I'd have to kill myself! It's now playing in my head! In all seriousness, I wish I could help. :)

You could try signing up for the Southwest credit card. You get a free flight with each card. You and your hubby could each get a card, which would be two free flights. I'm sure there are some stipulations, but it's worth looking into. Jetblue has a similar deal but from what I've heard there are a lot more blackout dates.

If you do happen to score a sweet deal due to my ideas, I only ask for a place to stay if I ever visit Seattle. And you can snap a few photos of my kids, too! Good luck.

if you go to travelocity and click on flexible dates, there are several that are under your price. The days available are scattered, but its worth a shot!

Good luck. We never get great prices and end up paying a fortune (times 8) every time we fly.
