Me: Brianna, I don't know if Mommy has time to make and decorate cupcakes. Can I bring brownies for your class tomorrow to celebrate your birthday instead?
Brianna: Ya, that will be good.
Me: What do the other Mommy's bring? Do they bring other food besides cupcakes?
Brianna: Nope. They all bring cupcakes.
Me: Is that going to upset you if I don't do the same?
Brianna: Nope. Let's shake it up a bit.

I have brought a cookie cake a couple of times. I found the kids ate more of this item than they did the cupcakes.
