For Your Chocolate Loving Info

I always try to be a bit fun in the candy stocking-stuffing department, and this year proved to be one of my best, if I do say so myself.  Although, last year I got bacon jelly beans for Rowdy.  They are just as disgusting as they sound.

So this year I decided to go back to chocolate....but chocolate with a bit more flav-a.

Welcome KOMFORTE Chockolates.  You can go to their website and find a location to buy them near you in the Seattle area or you can buy online.  I found them at our local Asian market Uwajimaya, and it was a rad day when I ate that Ramen Noodle candy bar, let me tell ya.

Tips:

*The tortilla+lime+salt is DISGUSTING. But you have to buy it.  Really, you do.
*The ramen noodle is simply the crunchy noodles in a chocolate bar, so think of it like a kit kat.
*The french toast is really good.  I should have bought more, for sure.

PLUS, you gotta love the wrapper design.  Uber chic and modern.

Welp, there you go.  I have now just solved your I-wanna-give-people-cool-candy-so-that-they-think-I-am-cooler-than-them dilemma.  I'll just go ahead and give myself a pat on the back for ya.  And a bite of chocolate. But not that lime tortilla chip one.  bleck.

That is really fun! Oh the things people come up with . . . and find!!! P.S. - Loved the project you did with Brianna. And she has a really cute tutorial for a Tiny Ticker Tape Quilt that I think would make a really cute pillow to just add fun homey-ness to anything, really - a rocking chair, sofa, bed, whatever. And I think it could be a fun way to do a Halloween wall hanging. Just the perfect amount of randomness for something like that.

We haven't tried these ones, but I found a red chili pepper chocolate bar for my husband's stocking and it was a big hit!!! Gotta love the slightly different twist on an old favorite.

Leave it to Carrie to find stuff like that for stockings!!! There's a little stand at Central Park that sells jalepeno and salted peanut dark chocolate. And it's amazing!!! Can't wait until next summer when it opens again and I can stock up!

You are way cooler than me. I admit it. I normally just go with the Reese's bells. BORING! Yummy, but boring
