Thank You NieNie

I saw this a few days ago and I just cried.

I had not been a happy mama.

I had yelled at my body, irritated that my progression to where I physically want to be(although in action!) feels slow.

I had yelled at my kitchen for having crumbs on the counter and giving me another load of dirty dishes.

I had yelled at my laundry for never being fully done (btw...if you really want that "done" feeling.. my advice would be to not take a shower or change clothes because THOSE clothes end up in that empty laundry hamper.)

I had yelled at my husband for doing too much schoolwork and educating himself to better provide for our family because gosh darn it I didn't want to make dinner.

I had yelled at myself for yelling.

I had yelled at my children for jumping and running and being them just because it was past bedtime.

And then I saw this.

And I knew it was time to remember my role in this life and how truly precious it is.

Thank You NieNie.

I found you on MMB. I loved your post about taking pictures of Grandma's things. Then I watched this video from NieNie and well, wow. Thank you so much.

I saw her story on Oprah. Her sister's family lives here and is in our ward. It's amazing how you can experience a story of another and learn so much! Our lives are so very precious and our roles in this life are so very important!!! It makes us want to be better and do better.

I've seen this video posted EVERYWHERE, and yet somehow I didn't get around to watching it until just now. Thanks. :)
