2) I am attempting to pass a new law stating that a photographer should never do a formal photo shoot with her/his own children. That objective point of view that we usually have just ain't happening.
3) Is it just me, or are my kids the worst posers ever?
Ahhhhhhhh....the forced smile with a head-lock just around the corner.
"Hey Kids! Get excited and shout HORRAY!"
" No...uhmm...wait...did I say that we were on a roller coaster?"
"Oh, much better excitement!" Only now you look like you are free-falling an entire 1/2 centimeter because my camera cut off your feet. Re-take.
Hmmmmm... why don't we just stick with the thumbs up sign instead.
"I'm sorry that I threw a rock at your head, Brianna!"
"I just can't forgive you, Kai!"
"Hey Kai, why don't we drive Mommy crazy by being childen that are impossible to photograph?!"
"Great idea, Brianna!"
That's a wrap.
Take 2 is gonna be so much better. I can feel it.

I've learned that I like "normal" every-day hair for pictures.
Seriously, can your daughter be dressed any cooler in those socks and dress?
I am not a photographer like you and thought that I am never doing a photo shoot with my kids again. Come see our out takes. My kids are the worst poser it took over an hour and I still don't have any great photos out of over a hundred shoots. Love your daughers outfit, but I agree with you on her hair. I have seen cuter photos of her that you have taken and posted of her on your blog. Good luck!
I love the goofy and candid shots the most!
That last one is awesome... And seriously. Its hard to take a bad picture when your kids are so gosh dang cute!
I really like the last one and the one with them hugging each other. So cute!
hahahahahahaha!! This was hilarious. I'm sorry it didn't turn out quite the way you wanted it to. I agree that you might need another photographer for the family. Maybe find a friend & swap?
Good luck on take two! I know it'll be great.
Cute kids! Your daughter's outfit is really fun. I like the picture in the prior post of your son holding out the snow.
Happy Holidays!
