Apparently my perfect-ness produces very messy offspring.
As much as it PAINS me to display this image, isn't this blog about truth?
Kinda wanting it to be about lies today though...
These are all CLEAN clothes. Not one of them is dirty.
(and this does not count those in the closet and in the drawers)
And as I reflect on how much I want to ground them for life, I turn to my side to see this! Blasted primary teacher.
So! Even though I am obsessed with darling clothes for my kiddos, I'm going to have to go through and get rid of a bunch. Even the ones that I adore. They just don't need this many. Simplifying is key to my sanity. And so I shall...
Who wants dibs on Fall/Winter name-brand girls size 7? She's grown 2 sizes taller this week, anyway.

It's been years since we've gotten hand-me-downs. Too bad we're not closer...like a couple thousand miles!

And I'm all about truth. I mean, this is real life, isn't it? My boys' room is the one that gets totally out of control at my house... I've walked through without touching a single square inch of carpet.
I have a friend who is an amazing family therapist/counselor and I asked her once about Devan's messy habits and how I can get her to clean up more often. She said, "Having a clean room is not important. The worst thing that can happen is she's a messy person when she grows up". She went on to tell me that her daughter that's in college is very messy, but has very good morals and values, and that's what matters most.
also, if you happen to have any leftover clothes I'll take them!

That looks Kat's room!!! She's brilliant--very smart, kind to others, on top of her school work. The room is her downfall!!!! I help her clean it 2 times a year. She's 14 and it hasn't helped. She's sleeping on a mattress on her floor because she has to maintain a clean room for most of a month to get a bed. That has yet to happen. Her sister got her new bed the first month of the deal. So she obviously doesn't want a bed. I'm such a mean mom!!!!
Oh--and all of her stuff is clothes and the contents of her purse as she changes it!
When I'm nagging Lauren to get her room clean, she always tells me, "my messy room spurs my creativity!" Yeah, right. Guess what she's doing right now, cleaning her room so she can go to a birthday party tomorrow night! :) Yup, I'm a mean mom!
My mom tried the garbage-bag method once. Put all my crap into garbage bags...
Yeah, I still got it back. The only thing that helped my slobness?
Germaphobia. Maybe you could tell them parasites will grow on clothes left on the floor.
I walk into my boys room and want to scream ever afternoon. I think every toy can be on the floor and I wonder how they can play in their mess. Then I realize they can't and that is why they have moved some of the mess to the family room...AHHH
Oh pick me!! My daughter is seven, and we would take great care of them :) haha!

My four year old is in size 6. Now I am a little worried...
Oh I'm not convinced. This could simply be the fresh laundry dump that she hasn't put away. And I use to change my clothes five times a day (and I distinctly remember the day I hit five outfits in one day my mom came in and told me it had to stop, and there was a mound of the clothes I had changed out of right in front of my dresser. Just like this one.) Getting rid of some clothes sounds like a good idea.
Oh, the seven's would fit Savannah perfectly!!! I've seen the clothes you have posted on here, WAY cute! I'll arm-wrestle MommyJ for them!
