(I love the cake batter in his hands, and the plane and dinosaur on the ground. Circa December 2008)
In 2008 I actually have a lot of posts that make me smile when I re-read them. In the Fall we had moved to Florida and it was a lot of new beginnings at that time. I love love love all the Christmas projects I did in my new home. It was the first Christmas that I hosted for our family, and that made my decorating so exciting.
But if it comes down to my favorite, it has to be Kai's 3rd birthday. I really love the funky looking monkey cake that I made him because he was SO obsessed with George. There was such a sweetness in that day...growing from a toddler into a little boy.

OK< you weren't up yet a few minutes ago and I have to leave to the valley, so I commented on yesterday's again, however, I picked Feb 17 for 2008 because you talked about FAT (always a hard subject) and I loved the lesson involved with the blog for that day!
I love the "uh oh" post. So funny!
Do I have to pick JUST ONE? I liked the kitchen aid.....and...fabric swap....and....giving tree..and.....
So many great ideas.
I probably like the picture with the red door. I LOVE red doors.
My favorite was "A little too young for boys." LOL!! That is fantastic! But I also LOVED your decorating ideas, your wreaths, Brianna's snow village, and yes, Kai's cake-mix adventure. I love your pictures and your ribbon-wrapped vase with ornaments in it.
Ah, so much love!

My bucket.
Loved reading all the things on your list. I have thought about making one a few times and always have them running through my head...
I've experienced you "present pain" from your December post of 2008. That's why I don't know what to get Matt for a gift because he's already gone out and bought it himself. Ugh!
I loved the 12 days of Easter!! So going to be doing it this year!!
