Soccer Mom Snack Dilemma

I believe the title says it all.
I have snacks this Saturday for the first time as a Soccer Mom.
And I am feeling the pressure.
I initially signed up thinking. "Hey, no big deal! Crackers and CapriSuns will be a hit."
And then.
Last Saturday the Snack Mom Extraordinaire (as she will now be referred) handed my son a baggie.
You know, the baggie that you get at cute birthday parties as take home gifts.
It was covered in soccer ball print.
And inside it had 3 different snacks and...
and..
a kids soccer
WHISTLE!
What?
I knew then that I was gonna have to up my game.

So now, dear blog friends, I am asking for advice on how exactly I am going to do that.  My creative juices are somewhere else this week.  I mean, I hardly had any warning!
I have two days to win this competition.
Ideas?
Templates?
UPS overnight shipments of crochet hacky-sack soccer balls from your hands to mine?

thoughts?

Update:  I have risen above.  Orange wedges and crackers are on the menu;)  Phew.

umm, how about crackers and capri suns, there is nothing wrong with that. does it really matter that last week was awesome. Save it for the end of the season soccer party. Beef up your game for that one.

I'm going to make rice crispy treats. Nothing like something sugary and sticky after a game to make things interesting :)

I agree with Cali - stick with the crackers and capri suns. Plus, just think of the pressure you'd put on the next mom... :)

It may be a little bit of work but I found this and thought it was cute...

I have snack this week also.

We have the same snack every week: a big bowl of cut up orange wedges.

Genius.

It's all the kids want - and most importantly: all they need.

They all bring their own water.

We have one kid allergic to gluten and one kid allergic to nuts - so the consensus at our parent meeting was oranges. Love it, and love the mom who suggested it - as now I will always be suggesting it at future soccer parent meetings.

Good luck.

Yeah, stick with the basics. Rise above the competition. ;) There's enough pressure in the world without all that unneeded stress.

Thanks, folks! I'm going to let the competitive part of me die for now and stick with the crackers;) BUT, I think I can do something more fun at the year end party. I appreciate all the super cute ideas;)

I agree with all the other comments...Capri sun and crackers..then maybe you won't have to do it again.

It's like a dog carried in a purse. It's ridiculous and now is your chance to not buy into the ridiculosity of it all.

I kind of almost hope some stray soccer ball hits that other mom up the side of the head this week.

Did I say that out loud?

I'm glad you let common sense reign. No need to be the soccer mom all the other ones can't look in the eye. Besides the kids don't care, as long as they get a snack!
