My Christmas Exchange Ornaments are SO simple (hopefully not too much so). But I like them because they have a sweet surpise inside. I made a sachet by using the lavender that we picked this summer and some rosemary from our garden. A simple squeeze and you'll think of me and where I live (near the lavender capital of the US).
(laying on the first snow of the year!)
I love to up-cycle as you know, so I grabbed some of my handy-dandy recipe pages in old cookbooks and
sewed them up as the wrapping paper/gift bag.
(The same cookbooks I used at my pie party).
Some of my favorite recipe pages are, of course, "sugar cookies, angel food cake, and nut-cracker sweet torte"
Off in the mail they go!

I finished my ornaments on Monday and sent them out on Tuesday. No line at the P.O.! I hope the girls enjoy the bit of beach that makes the ornament.
